The 2014 Gold Cup Gala at the Detroit Yacht Club will be held on Friday May 2nd. This event is to benefit the Gold Cup race and has become an annual tradition.

Special Gold Cup Gala Deal for DRRA Volunteers
The DYC has generously extended an invitation to active 2014 DRRA Volunteers for the Gold Cup Gala at a special rate of $50.
The DYC will have a list of active 2014 members, and you must be on that list to get the special rate. For this reason, advance reservations are highly recommended.
Some Sad News - Tim Hueston
We're sorry to pass along the news that long-time volunteer Tim Hueston passed away on March 22nd after a battle with cancer.
Tim was truly an outstanding supporter of boat racing at all levels, an amazingly hard worker, and good friend to all he met. He will be greatly missed.
The DRRA and all it's volunteers extend our condolences to Tim's family.

We invite you to celebrate the life of Timothy B. Hueston on Saturday March 29th, 2014 we will be having a short memorial service to honor the life of Tim Hueston at the First Presbyterian Church of Brighton @ 1:00pm
