The race in Madison was set to start on Friday with testing and qualifying, however it appears that due to high water levels they may have to make it a Saturday / Sunday only event.

Detroit Fireworks Night at the Dodge Pits

While we were some distance away, the Detroit fireworks pot-luck gathering at Pit Tower was a big success!

The guesstimate I heard was 140 people, I'd say that's conservative. It was nice to see everyone in a casual setting outside of a volunteer meeting or at the races. Plans are to do it again in 2014.

MANY THANKS to Jim & Carol Verkennis, Jeffry White, Ray Dong, and everyone else who helped host this event!

Cleanup Days Continue

The next cleanup dates are July 8 & 9, then it is GO time!
